NEW PATIENT PSYCHIATRIC EVALUATION
Dr. Choby's practice philosophy allows ample time for her to understand your concerns in an unhurried manner. Treatment focuses on providing patients personalized care tailored to their specific needs.
MEDICATION MANAGEMENT
Dr. Choby has over 20 years of experience in psychopharmacology and approaches prescribing with a light touch.
She works with patients to ensure they are taking correct medications for their symptoms, at appropriate doses to minimize side-effects.
If you wish to move towards being medication free, Dr. Choby can provide insight as to whether this would be clinically appropriate and work to develop a structured discontinuation plan.
Medication management appointments are scheduled for 30 minutes for established patients. For those who desire additional time for their appointments, one-hour combined medication management and psychotherapy sessions are available.
PSYCHOTHERAPY SERVICES
Psychotherapy services are offered as a stand-alone process or add-on treatment with medication management. Patients with mild symptoms, who wish to avoid taking medications can often be treated with psychotherapy alone.
Dr. Choby has extensive training and clinical experience in psychotherapeutic techniques to help you work through a variety of concerns.
